Passport and visa: The passport must be valid. For a stay lower than three months, the visa is not necessary for the French, the Belgians, the Swiss ones and the Canadians. The older children of less than 16 years must have their photograph on the passport of their parents.

 

Customs: The franknesses which apply to Morocco are the same ones as for any third country (country not forming part of the EEC). It is allowed to bring back one liter of alcohol posting more 22° and 2 liters of wines, a cartridge of 200 cigarettes.

 

Currencies: The national currency is the dirham (DH), which is worth approximately 0,65 FF. Namely that in Morocco, the life remains appreciably less expensive than in France. The import and the export of the Moroccan dirham remain strictly prohibited.

 

Bank cards: In Morocco, some 13.000 tradesmen accept the visa card. One counts 1200 counters and nearly 160 automatic teller machines only for the Visa network; without counting on the presence also of Mastercard, Dinners International club or American Express…
