Imperial cities and the south of
Morocco
• Day 1: Marrakech
Reception at the airport and transfer to
the hotel.
• Day 2: Marrakech
You will enjoy all day to visit
Marrakech, the former imperial city. You
will discover the Koutoubia Mosque, the
tombs saâdiens, then the Bahia Palace,
headquarters of Major Vizier Ahmed Ba dating
from the late nineteenth century. Lunch.
Continuation of Jemaa el Fna visit, living
heart of the city.
Dinner and night in the hotel.
• Day 3: Marrakech - Rabat
Depart for Casablanca - Tour guidance of
the city, its boulevards and a visit outside
of the Hassan II Mosque. Lunch. Continuation
to Rabat and visit the Tour Hassan, the
Mausoleum Mohamed V, the Oudayas Kasbah.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
• Day 4: Rabat - Fez
Departure to Meknes - Visit the ruins of
Volubilis, Moulay Idriss. Lunch.Visit Meknes:
Gate Bab El Mansour, the Medina, palaces and
gardens. You will continue to Fez.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
• Day 5: Fez
Day dedicated to Fez, the oldest
imperial cities, which was for centuries the
cultural and religious centre of the West
Muslim. Discover the medina and
"souks","medersa Bou Inania", then place
Néjarine with its magnificent fountain
decorated with mosaics. Lunch in the medina,
and then visit the graves "merinides" where
we have a bird's eye view of the city and
its walls.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
• Day 6: Fez - Merzouga
After breakfast at the hotel. Departure
for merzouga, via Ifrane, and Midelt, stop
for Lunch, and continue to Errachidia, Ziz
Valley and Erfoud.
Dinner and night at the hotel in merzouga.
• Day 7: Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll visit Rissani,
stop for lunch, and then return to Merzouga
to start your discovery of large Merzouga
dunes, especially on back of camels to go to
the bivouac in the oasis in Desert.
Dinner and night in Berber tents.
• Day 8: Merzouga - boumaline Dades
Departure to erfoud, then the palm of
tinghir, visit the todra gorges, lunch in
tinghir, and then go to boumaline.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
• Day 9: boumaline Dades - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, departure to
kelaat-m'gouna via boutarar and the valley
of roses, then the oasis of skour and see
the beautiful Kasbahs, lunch in Ouarzazate,
and enjoy the afternoon to visit the Kasbah
of taourirt, tifoultoute and the film
studio.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
• Day 10: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Departure via "tizi-n-tichka" to
Marrakech,
Dinner and night at a hotel or riad.
• Day 11:
Transfer to the airport "menara" in
Marrakech.
